Michael Nolden

Michael A. Nolden, a native Memphian, received his education at Memphis City Schools.
After accepting Christ as his personal Savior, he became an active member of New Hope Baptist Church, where he was an active member in the Ministry and male choir.
Michael’s IRS career began January 1985. He was active in many activities during his tenure at IRS which included sign language, NTEU steward, and a member of the ERC Gospel Choir.
Michael’s career ended at his demise as a Technology Analyst in the Employee Resource Center.
Michael and Kate Conley Nolden were married for 14 short years and enjoyed a blessed life together.
Michael’s legacy lives on in the memories of those who shared his dreams, goals, and aspirations. To sum up his life in several words, Michael lived a full and complete life adding purpose to each one he met.

Scholarships to be given away October 3, 2009
Five scholarships will be awarded on October 3, 2009. The winners will be announced at the NTEU Scholarship Fest held at Botanic Gardens. Scholarships will not be given away during labor recognition. All applications and essays must be turned in no later than October 1, 2009, in order to be eligible. For more information regarding the fest, please contact the office at extension 3227.
